Leave the stainless steel bracelets on. A cuff or a bangle from the waterproof jewellery collection can take soap and hot water. Rinse it when you get out.
Take off rings, necklaces, earrings and watches. They are not waterproof. Take off leather too. A leather watch strap stiffens and stains even when the case is metal.
If it is not in that bracelet collection, it comes off before the water goes on.
